I stopped watching Heroes somewhere last season when I realized if I had to listen to Zachary Quinto's voice for one more minute, someone was gonna end up dead.  But I keep up with what's happening through Annalee Newitz's brilliant and hilarious recaps on io9.  Personally, I find them more entertaining than the show ever was.  Also, io9 is one of ( Read more... )

That movie was all kinds of awesome. Was it perfect? Of course not. Sorry about the meltdown on Friday. Life has twisted ways of reminding me that simply being a good person and trying my best does not protect me from its impersonal cruelty. Are things better? Not really, but at least I remembered that the point is to keep pushing forward and hoping. Eventually it'll all come together.
